Three people have been charged with murder and kidnap after a London DJ was found dead in woodland near an Essex industrial estate.

Koray Alpergin, 43, was the owner of Turkish radio station Bizim FM.

A post-mortem examination found he died of severe trauma, and further forensic tests are being done.

Police discovered his body close to Oakwood Hill Industrial Estate in Loughton just before noon on Saturday 15 October.

He and a 33-year-old woman, understood to be his girlfriend, had been reported missing from an address in Enfield, north London, the day before.

The woman was later found unharmed.

Erdogan Ulcay, 55, of Oakeshott Avenue, Camden; Ali Kavak, 25, of De Quincey Road, Tottenham; and a 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named, will appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.

A fourth man, 55, was bailed pending further enquiries.
