Georgia has had the No. 1-ranked recruiting class in the three months since our 2024 rankings debuted in February, and the rich got richer on Monday when the Bulldogs landed a commitment from the No. 1 overall recruit, quarterback Dylan Raiola.
Raiola is a 6-foot-3, 220-pound quarterback from Phoenix and the son of former NFL veteran center Dominic Raiola. On the field, he is a polished thrower who makes passes with timing, strength and precision.
Kirby Smart is on pace to land his eighth straight top-three recruiting class, yet Georgia has landed the No. 1 overall recruit just once: quarterback Justin Fields, who signed in 2018 but ultimately transferred to Ohio State.
Raiola may be the highest-ranked commit in the Dawgs’ class, but make no mistake, Smart loaded up on defense. Georgia’s class also includes five-star cornerback Ellis Robinson IV, linebacker Demarcus Riddick, safety Jaylen Heyward and safety Peyton Woodyard, all ranked inside the top 50 of the ESPN 300.
