The Las Vegas man charged in Tupac Shakur’s murder bragged about being arrested in “the biggest case in Las Vegas history,” newly released body camera footage showed.
Duane “Keffe D” Davis proclaimed the bold comment to an officer as he sat in the backseat of a police cruiser following the historic and long-awaited capture on Sept. 29.
“So what they got you for, man?” the officer asked.
“Oh man, the biggest case in Las Vegas history,” Davis responded before he was asked if it was a recent incident.
“Sept. 7, 1996,” Davis added, referring to the night Shakur was gunned down in a drive-by shooting on the Las Vegas strip.
“Oh no s–t, wow, that’s a long time away,” the officer said.
Davis was indicted for murder with the use of a deadly weapon with a gang enhancement over the death of the All Eyez On Me rapper.

Davis was one of four people inside the white Cadillac that pulled up alongside Shakur but said his nephew Orlando Anderson was the one who fired the gun, fatally striking the rapper four times.
He is the only person charged in the killing of the 25-year-old rapper, as the other three inside the vehicle have since died.
Police arrested Davis as he was on his early morning walk.

“Hey Keffe, Metro Police, come over here,” the one officer said before grabbing Davis’ right wrist and guiding him over to the vehicle.
The accused murderer complied with the police during their search, only requesting a drink of water as he was cuffed.
While Davis was being transported to the police headquarters, he pressed officers with several questions about his arrest.

They dont want anyone interacting with him clearly they are concerned he will get whacked, said the source. He is definitely being guarded. Other prisoners are not permitted to go near where he is being kept.
