Three arrested after man shot with crossbow in Craigavon

Three men have been arrested after a man in his 20s was shot twice in the leg with a crossbow in Craigavon in Northern Ireland, police say.

The incident reportedly took place in the Rosmoyle area of the County Armagh town at around 5am today.

Police attended with the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS), who subsequently took the man to hospital for treatment on his injuries.

Three men aged 23, 32 and 34 were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and remain in custody.

The force, which covers Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon has said its enquiries are at an early stage and is asking anyone with mobile phone or dashcam footage to contact them.
