A second woman who worked at the Tiny Toes Day Nursery in Stockport has been charged with neglect.

Rebecca Gregory, 25, of Stockport, has been charged with four counts of child neglect from April 2022, Greater Manchester Police say.

She is due to appear at Stockport Magistrates’ Court on 5 August.

Police say the charges do not relate in any way to Genevieve Meehan, who died at the same nursery in May 2022, aged nine months.

Kate Roughley, 37, of Stockport, was found guilty of Genevieve’s manslaughter on Monday.

She is due to be sentenced on Wednesday (22 May).
