Suspect charged over death of Glasgow man after ‘disturbance’ at house

A suspect has been charged over the death of a 49-year-old man who was found injured at a house.

Police were called to a report of a disturbance at the property in Brock Road, Glasgow, at around 1am on Tuesday.

Michael Lincoln, from Glasgow, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Police Scotland said a 53-year-old man who was arrested has now been charged in connection with Mr Lincoln’s death.

The suspect – who has not been named by police – is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday.

A police spokesperson added: “A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
