The 2025 Chevy Blazer EV will debut with lower starting prices. However, with a lower price tag, some features are also getting cut. Here’s what you should know.
2025 Chevy Blazer EV prices cut (again)
Although Chevy introduced the Blazer EV back in 2022, the all-electric SUV hit the market in mid-2023.
After four months on the market, GM issued a stop-sale to fix its software. In March, the stop-sale was lifted, and the 2024 Chevy Blazer EV was reintroduced with lower prices.
The electric Blazer also gained access to the full $7,500 federal tax credit, drastically lowering its starting price. The base Blazer EV 2LT AWD trim’s price was lowered by over $6,500. With the tax credit included, the Blazer EV could be bought for as little as $42,695
Later this year, GM will offer a more affordable Blazer EV LT FWD. With a starting price under $50,000, GM aims to compete with Tesla’s best-selling Model Y.

Chevy Blazer EV prices and range by trim
According to early data from GM Authority, Chevy is lowering 2025 Blazer EV prices even further. The 2025 LT AWD trim is $1,200 lower than the 2024 model. However, features like the Dual Level Charge Cord ($1,225) and Comfort and Convenience Package ($2,295) are no longer standard.
Meanwhile, the RS AWD trim is $300 cheaper. But, again, the features above are no longer included as standard.
The RS Convenience and Driver Confidence Package was mandatory on the 2024 Blazer EV. Priced at $2,620, the 2025 model will cost $2,320 more to get the charge cord.
With new incentives, 2024 Blazer EV lease prices are nearly the same as those of the gas-powered model. It’s also cheaper than the 2024 Honda Prologue, even though it’s based on the same platform.
Meanwhile, Chevy began deliveries of the new Equinox EV. With a 1LT FWD trim coming later this year, starting at $34,995, GM claims it’s the “most affordable” EV in its class with up to 300 miles range (see our review).
