Audi of America has officially announced the pricing and specifications for its all-new 2025 Q6 e-tron model line, and it came with a surprise.
Among the lineup is a new rear-wheel-drive (RWD) entry model, designed to offer the longest range of any Audi battery-electric vehicle (BEV) to date. Starting at $63,800, the RWD Q6 e-tron promises an impressive EPA-estimated range of 321 miles when equipped with the ultra package.
The Q6 is Audi’s first EV powered by the PPE platform developed with Porsche, and the result is a more mature EV. Audi is simply getting better at making electric vehicles, and it is combining these new skills with its extensive experience creating comfortable and responsive vehicles.
A New Standard for Range and Performance
The 2025 Q6 e-tron model line will include three variants: the rear-wheel-drive Q6 e-tron, the all-wheel-drive Q6 e-tron quattro®, and the high-performance SQ6 e-tron. The rear-wheel-drive version stands out with its 100-kWh battery and an efficient single rear motor, delivering 302 horsepower (322 hp with launch control) and an acceleration time of 0-60 mph in just 6.3 seconds.
The RWD model leads Audi’s BEV range with a 321-mile driving range, made possible by advanced engineering, including direct cooling of the electric motor and a low-drag design that optimizes aerodynamics.
Powerful Siblings with Impressive Specs
For those seeking more power, the Q6 e-tron quattro offers 422 hp (456 hp with launch control), a 0-60 mph time of 4.9 seconds, and a 307-mile range. The performance-oriented SQ6 e-tron takes it further with 483 hp (509 hp with launch control), accelerating from 0-60 mph in just 4.1 seconds and reaching a top speed of 143 mph, with a range of 275 miles.
All models feature cutting-edge battery technology, including an 800-volt system enabling DC fast charging at up to 270 kW (260 kW for RWD models), which can charge the battery from 10% to 80% in just 21 minutes.
High-Tech Interior and Next-Gen Architecture
Inside, the Q6 e-tron introduces Audi’s latest MMI user interface, powered by the all-new E3 1.2 electronic architecture. This system integrates a 14.5-inch center OLED display, an 11.9-inch virtual cockpit, and optional passenger displays, offering a highly connected and intuitive driving experience.
Advanced driver-assistance systems come standard, including adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, and Audi’s new rear occupant detection and turn assist systems.
Bold Exterior Design
Built to slot between the Q4 and Q8 e-tron models, the Q6 e-tron boasts striking proportions with a length of 187.8 inches and a wheelbase of 113.7 inches. Its clean, elegant lines are complemented by distinctive design elements like the closed Singleframe grille and quad headlight design.
U.S. Deliveries by End of 2024
The 2025 Audi Q6 e-tron will be available in U.S. dealerships before the end of 2024, with pricing starting at $63,800. As Audi’s most advanced electric SUV yet, it sets the stage for the brand’s continued commitment to electric mobility.
