A man has been charged with the murder of a 16-year-old boy in north London.
Francie McCarthy, 21, is set to appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.
The Metropolitan Police said McCarthy, of Tufnell Park, is charged with the murder of Deonte Mowatt-Slater, who was stabbed to death.
Deonte was found with injuries on Courtauld Road, Islington, just after midnight on Tuesday 22 October.
The force said the teenager died at the scene.
A post-mortem gave the cause of death as stab wounds.
Deonte’s family continue to be supported by specially trained police officers.
