Genesis GV90 will bring advanced tech, tricks, and more

After we got a sneak peek of the interior, its coach doors, rear-wheel steering, and more, it looks like the Genesis GV90 has another trick up its sleeve.

It was first introduced as the Neolun concept, a stunning full-size electric SUV that Genesis revealed at the New York Auto Show last March.

The GV90 is “an ultra-luxe, state-of-the-art SUV” that will go head-to-head with other premium SUVs like the BMW X7, Mercedes GLS, and upcoming Range Rover Electric.

With its debut coming up, we’ve seen a few models out testing in public, showcasing some of its ultra-luxe features, including the coach doors. A few weeks ago, Electrek discovered a patent filed with the USPTO, likely showing how the coach door system will work in the upcoming GV90.

A new video caught in South Korea reveals another trick the Genesis GV90 will bring. The video, shot by a kid in Korea and posted by HealerTV, shows a full-size electric SUV with adaptive air suspension.

You can see the GV90’s suspension rise, a feature found in the Genesis G90. Genesis confirmed with the reporter that the Multi-Chamber Air Suspension system will also be applied to the GV90.

With production scheduled to begin by mid-2026, Genesis is expected to officially unveil the GV90 in the next few months. Although prices, range, and final specs will be revealed closer to launch, it’s expected to debut on Hyundai’s new eM platform.

Hyundai has said the new EV platform will “provide 50% improvement in driving range,” and Level 3 or higher autonomous capabilities.
