After Poland's envoy in France said that his country may come to rescue Ukraine if Kyiv struggles to defend itself, Vladimir Putin's ally said this would start world war three.

What Happened: On Monday, the Head of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, Leonid Slutsky, warned that Polands participation in the Ukrainian conflict would mean the unleashing of a third world war by NATO.

The direct participation of Poland in the Ukrainian conflict, no matter with the defeat of Kyiv or before its surrender will mean the unleashing of a third world war by NATO. A truth that cannot be misunderstood in the capitals of the member countries of the alliance, Slutsky wrote on Telegram.

Poland's Ambassador to France, Jan Emeryk Ro?ciszewski, in an interview with LCI, a French TV channel, said a situation in the Ukraine conflict could arise in which Poland would have to enter the war.

"Either Ukraine will defend its independence today, or we will have to enter this conflict. Because our main values, which were the basis of our civilization and our culture will be threatened. Therefore, we will have no choice but to enter the conflict, he said.

However, Poland's embassy in France later cleared the air and urged audiences to refrain from sensationalizing the diplomats words.?? The embassy issued a statement saying that some media interpreted his comments out of context.

Referring to the statement, Slutsky added that such a scenario does not attract the countries of the alliance since the Polish embassy denied these statements. And they are unlikely to be attracted by such a prospect, at least according to official statements. It is not surprising that the Polish embassy hastened to refute the words of the head of the diplomatic mission.

NASA’s Perseverance rover has discovered striking megaripples — giant Martian sand waves — at a site called Kerrlaguna in Jezero Crater. These formations, about a meter tall, are larger than Earth’s beach ripples but smaller than the biggest dunes. Scientists say they formed when Mars had a thicker atmosphere and stronger winds, and many now appear frozen in t…
