close video Conservative version of Amazon gaining following by consumers feeling abandoned by woke corporations

PublicSq. CEO and founder Michael Seifert creates a new marketplace for businesses that respect fundamental American values.

Amazon's conservative competitor PublicSq. is gaining ground among consumers looking for an alternative to the online retail giant and wishing to locate businesses that respect their personal values.

The San Diego-based alternative online marketplace went nationwide ten months ago, featuring a number of companies that adhere to traditional values, contrary to increasingly woke mega-corporations that continue to create a stir in the news cycle, like Anheuser-Busch, Nike, and more.

PublicSq.'s CEO and founder Michael Seifert joined the Fox News Channel early Monday to discuss his innovative concept that is gaining ground of late, sharing what makes the concept so appealing.

"The nation was hungry for this," he told "Fox & Friends First" anchor Ashley Strohmier.

"We are addressing the largest unaddressed market in the world, which is patriotic, traditionally-valued, constitution-loving America. I'm part of this market. I felt like, for years, major corporate entities in the United States have continued to turn against me and my values. Bud Light is the most recent example that is prominent, but Nike, Starbucks and Target [also].

"There are so many entities that, for whatever reason, decided to cater to messaging that only attracts 10% of the country when there's a massive cohort of 100+ million Americans feeling like their values have been left in the dust…"

Seifert continued by saying he hopes consumers can shop on the new marketplace with the assurance that the featured businesses will cater to and uphold their deeply-held personal beliefs that tend to protest those of the corporate establishment.

He further explained that PublicSq. holds core values that all companies featured on the platform must profess to uphold, including belief in American exceptionalism, the sanctity of life, the value of small businesses, and judging people based on the content of their character instead of their racial and gender-based demographics.

"[Our core values are] not even political. They speak to the fundamental principles that made this country so special in the first place," he said.  "What's great is, when you come to our platform and you're looking for a beer company or a local brewery… you're not going to get lectured about your politics, you're not going to get preached to about gender ideology, you're going to be served a quality beer."

New Tolerance Campaign President Gregory T. Angelo discusses how CEOs should not get political or discuss social issues.

He said the platform has nearly 50,000 business vendors and has had millions of consumer interactions, with over two million coming in during the last month.

"It has grown exponentially," he added, boasting the platform's diverse offerings for products ranging from beer to coffee to service providers such as banks.

Seifert said he hopes consumers will make PublicSq. their new home for shopping.

Sovereignty rallies to win Jim Dandy at Saratoga

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — Kentucky Derby and Belmont Stakes champion Sovereignty rallied after losing position heading into the final turn to win the $500,000 Jim Dandy by a length at Saratoga on Saturday.

Ridden by Junior Alvarado, Sovereignty ran nine furlongs in 1:49.52 and paid $3 to win as the 1-2 favorite against four rivals, the smallest field of his career.

Hall of Fame trainer Bill Mott said Sovereignty would be pointed toward the $1.25 million Travers on Aug. 23 at the upstate New York track.

Approaching the turn, there were a few tense moments as it appeared Sovereignty was retreating when losing position to the advancing Baeza and deep closers Sandman and Hill Road, leaving Sovereignty in last for a few strides.

Alvarado said he never had a doubt that Sovereignty would come up with his expected run.

“It was everybody else moving and at that time I was just like, ‘Alright let me now kind of start picking it up,'” Alvarado said. “I had 100% confidence. I knew what I had underneath me.”

Baeza, third to Sovereignty in both the Derby and Belmont, finished second. Hill Road was another 9¼ lengths back in third. Mo Plex was fourth and Sandman fifth.

French authorities have now launched an investigation into the circumstances.

A spokesperson for Doctors Without Borders, also known as MSF, has criticised authorities on both sides of the Channel.

Jacob Burns said: “Yet again we have a tragedy in the Channel, that is the consequence of the deadly, costly and ineffective security policies implemented by the UK and France.”

Michigan: 11 people stabbed in US supermarket - with six in critical condition

At least 11 people have been stabbed at a Walmart supermarket in Michigan, with six in a critical condition.

Officials say a suspect is in custody – and at this stage, it is believed the attack was a “random act” that involved a folding-style knife near the checkout area.

Sheriff Michael Shea told reporters: “Eleven is 11 too many, but thank God it wasn’t more.”

The suspect, who is from Michigan, is not known to police – and was captured within three minutes thanks to “citizen involvement”.

The attack unfolded in Traverse City – and Tiffany DeFell, who was in the car park at the time, described scenes of chaos.

“It was really scary. Me and my sister were just freaking out,” she said. “This is something you see out of the movies.”

Beyond the six people in a critical condition, it is believed the remaining five were seriously hurt. All 11 are still being treated in hospital.

Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer said: “Our thoughts are with the victims and the community reeling from this brutal act of violence.”

A Walmart spokesperson added that the retailer is working closely with law enforcement.

“Violence like this is unacceptable. Our thoughts are with those who were injured and we’re thankful for the swift action of first responders,” a statement said.
