Melania Trump was spotted looking unbothered at Trump Tower in New York City shortly before Donald Trump was indicted on multiple charges related to the alleged mishandling of federal documents at his Mar-a-Lago hideaway.

The former First Lady, 53, hid her expression behind black sunglasses and clutched a Chanel handbag as she stepped into her New York residence on Thursday afternoon.

Just a few hours later, Donald Trump, 76, announced on Truth Social that he was indicted on seven charges, including some under the Espionage Act.

The corrupt Biden Administration has informed my attorneys that I have been Indicted, seemingly over the Boxes Hoax, the former president wrote before excoriating President Joe Bidens own allegedly lackadaisical document storage.

It does have some language in it that suggests what the seven charges would be. Not 100% clear that all of those are separate charges, but they basically break out from an Espionage Act charge, Trumps lawyer, Jim Trusty, later confirmed to CNN. Melanias stone-faced Trump Tower appearance comes a little less than a month after Donald snubbed her in a seething Mothers Day post about the Radical Left.

The couple who have been married since 2005 and share a son, Barron are said to have a transactional marriage, though sources say they are more bonded than ever after Donald announced his 2024 presidential campaign.

Still, Melania has yet to comment on Donalds latest indictment, which carries a maximum 75-year prison sentence if convicted on all counts. Melania has not commented on the charges against her husband.GC Images The former first lady clutched a coveted Chanel purse.GC Images

The charges against the self-proclaimed real estate mogul include: willfully retaining the national defense documents, conspiring to obstruct justice, withholding the documents, corruptly concealing the records, concealing a document in a federal investigation, scheming to conceal and making false statements, sources told ABC News Thursday.

In April, the former model was noticeably absent from her husbands Mar-A-Lago speech following his arraignment on charges related to hush-money payments to adult film star Stormy Daniels.

Of course she knows about Donalds affairs, she knows everything. But her silence is her dignity. She will stand by her husband, as she always does. I dont think Melania is humiliated by his affairs but she is angry, Melanias former aide and confidante, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, told Page Six at the time.

Man and woman arrested over deaths of two children in Essex crash after car failed to stop

A man and a woman have been arrested after two children died following a crash in Essex.

Police said a car failed to stop after a collision involving a girl and a boy in Basildon on Saturday evening.

Emergency services attended the scene in Walthams Place, Pitsea, but both children died.

A man and a woman were arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and failing to stop at the scene of a collision, Essex Police said.

They both remain in custody.

Temporary Assistant Chief Constable Stuart Hooper said: “My thoughts are with the friends and family of the girl and boy who have died this evening.

“Specialist officers are supporting them at this truly unimaginably difficult time.

“Our officers will be carrying out enquiries in the area this evening to establish the circumstances which led up to the collision so if you saw anything or have any information please get in contact.”

Police were called to the scene at around 6.25pm and officers are appealing for information, CCTV, dashcam or other footage to come forward.
