EcoFlow Halloween sale offers DELTA Pro power station with free gear at $2,499 ($4,167 value)
EcoFlow has launched a Halloween Sale through the rest of the month that is taking up to 51% off a huge lineup of power stations, bundles, smart devices, and accessories – with some special offers that bump up the savings with free additional gear. One of these special offers is the DELTA Pro Portable Power Station that is down at $2,499 shipped and comes with a free monitor for your home backup setup on top of a free camping light too. Normally going for $3,699, we saw it fall to a more recent $2,099 during the brand’s Prime Day sale two weeks ago, and more often averaging around $2,599 during most other sales. You’ll be benefitting from a 32% markdown here today that slashes $1,200 off the price tag and gives you the third-lowest price we have tracked – but what makes this deal so much better than before is the inclusion of the free PowerInsight Home Energy Monitor and waterproof camping light that is valued at $468 together. If you’re not interested in the free gear, you’ll find the power station $200 cheaper at Amazon.
There are some nice extra savings perks that EcoFlow is offering during this sale, with orders that amount to $2,000 to $4,999 receiving a free waterproof camping light, and orders over $5,000 getting a free RIVER Portable Power Station on top of the light. There’s also the added bonus for reward program members (free to sign-up here – plus, you get 500 credits) that nets you double EcoCredits during this sale, as well as the additional 5% off discount that military, first responders, students, and teachers all get upon verification.
One of the biggest and most popular backup power contenders on the market, EcoFlow’s DELTA Pro power station provides a massive 3,600Wh LiFePO4 battery capacity that can be expanded later up to 25kWh when setup with additional power stations and the dedicated smart extra batteries. It pumps out up to 3,600W of power that can surge up to 7,200W and sports a plethora of ports to cover devices, appliances, and more: five AC ports, four USB-A ports, two USB-C ports, two DC ports, and a car port.
The station’s own battery can be plugged into a standard wall outlet to fully recharge in 1.8 hours, or you can hook up a maximum of 1,600W of solar input to recharge over 2.8 hours. Best deal on Anker’s PowerCore Reserve 60,000mAh power bank station returns for $90 low
Coming to us through its official Amazon storefront, Anker is giving folks a second opportunity at the best deal we’ve seen on its PowerCore Reserve 60,000mAh Power Bank Station for $89.99 shipped, after clipping the on-page $10 off coupon. Normally priced at $150 most of the time, it’s already seeing a solid $50 taken off its price tag, but to sweeten the pot more, we’re getting an additional $10 on top of that for the best deal we’ve tracked – a 40% markdown to the all-time lowest price ever that we only saw for one day during the recent Prime Day event from two weeks ago.
One of Anker’s most popular portable backup companions for your personal day-to-day devices, the PowerCore Reserve doesn’t just provide a 60,000mAh/192Wh battery capacity, but it also weighs in just over 5 pounds, slipping right into your bag for easy carrying (with an integrated handle too). There are two USB-A ports and two USB-C ports to cover your devices here, able to keep an iPhone 14 recharged over 10 times or a MacBook Air for up to 2.9 times. Aside from its standard way to charge, it also delivers solar charging capabilities too, only taking four hours to get back to full when you connect a 60W solar input. Its crown features a built-in retractable light for illumination needs, with two brightness levels and an S.O.S button to flash through the dark in emergency situations.
While the above model is already built with a durable body, you’ll also find a custom co2CREA Hard Case to add another layer of protections discounted back to its Prime Day rate of $28at the moment too.
Save $600 with Greenworks’ 80V 24-inch cordless electric two-stage snow blower at $1,400 (Today only)
As part of its Deals of the Day, Best Buy is offering the Greenworks 80V 24-inch Cordless Electric Two-Stage Snow Blower for $1,399.99 shipped. Normally this heavy-duty equipment would run you $2,000 at full price, with very few discounts having dropped on it over 2024, the biggest of which brought costs down to $1,300 back in February. Today, you’re looking at a solid 30% markdown that slashes $600 off the price tag and lands it down at the second-lowest price we have tracked – just $100 above the all-time low from the top of the year. Not only is it unavailable on Amazon at the moment, but this deal beats out Greenworks’ own website where its priced at an even higher $2,100 rate.
The snow season is on the horizon for many regions while others are already receiving their share of weather forecasts calling for snowfall, and this heavy-duty snow blower from Greenworks is discounted just in time to prep properly, though keep in mind this deal is only available for today. The digitally-controlled brushless motor can easily carve out a 24-inch path that is up to 18 inches deep, discharging the snow in your path up to 50 feet through its 200-degree rotating chute, which has been upgraded from the previous model’s 20-foot discharge and 180-degree rotating chute.
It’s been stocked with plenty of LED lights for better visibility, making those morning clearings before the snow has time to pack down far easier. It also sports zero-turn self-propelled hub motor wheels that don’t get stuck in the powder and on the ice thanks to the increased power and the “effortless maneuverability.” The two included 4.0 batteries offer up enough juice to clear out an 18-car driveway on a single 60-minute charge when using the included dual-port turbocharger – plus, it can hold a third battery from the brand, offering up an even longer runtime should you want it.
Don’t let snowfall catch you off guard with Greenworks’ 80V 12-inch cordless electric snow shovel at $250
Amazon is helping folks prep for winter’s arrival by offering the Greenworks 80V 12-inch Cordless Electric Snow Shovel for $250.25 shipped. Priced at Greenworks at a $350 price tag, we saw it close out 2023 at the $200 low from Christmas sales that remained until the first days of January, which has not been seen again since and has mostly remained close to its full rate for most of the year, often near $339 up until recently with a few cuts down closer to $300. We did spot it at $245 last week in a one-day-only Best Buy sale, but today you’re getting another chance at a significantly reduced rate that will save you $100 and give you the second-best deal we have tracked as dropping in this year.
With winter poised to arrive (and likely in an unexpected manner than we’re used to thanks to the changing weather schedules of our modern time), make sure you’re never caught off guard by sudden snowfall with this handy electric snow shovel from Greenworks that powers through the job while saving you space over bulkier snow blower models. The 80V brushless motor clears a 12-inch wide path and cuts out a depth of up to six inches at a time, discharging everything up to 25 feet away from you in the process. The lightweight and ergonomic design allows for more effortless and comfortable use by folks of varying sizes, while also sporting a lock-out button to protect you from accidental starting when your fingers may go cold and numb while working. The 2.0Ah battery here is not only compatible across Greenworks’ ecosystem, but it also provides a 45-minute runtime for every 30 minutes plugged into the included charger.
The savings this week are also continuing to a collection of other markdowns. To the same tune as the offers above, these all help you take a more energy-conscious approach to your routine. Winter means you can lock in even better off-season price cuts on electric tools for the lawn while saving on EVs and tons of other gear.

Wind energy powered 20% of all electricity consumed in Europe (19% in the EU) in 2024, and the EU has set a goal to grow this share to 34% by 2030 and more than 50% by 2050.
To stay on track, the EU needs to install 30 GW of new wind farms annually, but it only managed 13 GW in 2024 – 11.4 GW onshore and 1.4 GW offshore. This is what’s holding the EU back from achieving its wind growth goals.
Three big problems holding Europe’s wind power back
Europe’s wind power growth is stalling for three key reasons:
Permitting delays. Many governments haven’t implemented the EU’s new permitting rules, making it harder for projects to move forward.
Grid connection bottlenecks. Over 500 GW(!) of potential wind capacity is stuck in grid connection queues.
Slow electrification. Europe’s economy isn’t electrifying fast enough to drive demand for more renewable energy.
Brussels-based trade association WindEurope CEO Giles Dickson summed it up: “The EU must urgently tackle all three problems. More wind means cheaper power, which means increased competitiveness.”
Permitting: Germany sets the standard
Permitting remains a massive roadblock, despite new EU rules aimed at streamlining the process. In fact, the situation worsened in 2024 in many countries. The bright spot? Germany. By embracing the EU’s permitting rules — with measures like binding deadlines and treating wind energy as a public interest priority — Germany approved a record 15 GW of new onshore wind in 2024. That’s seven times more than five years ago.
If other governments follow Germany’s lead, Europe could unlock the full potential of wind energy and bolster energy security.
Grid connections: a growing crisis
Access to the electricity grid is now the biggest obstacle to deploying wind energy. And it’s not just about long queues — Europe’s grid infrastructure isn’t expanding fast enough to keep up with demand. A glaring example is Germany’s 900-megawatt (MW) Borkum Riffgrund 3 offshore wind farm. The turbines are ready to go, but the grid connection won’t be in place until 2026.
This issue isn’t isolated. Governments need to accelerate grid expansion if they’re serious about meeting renewable energy targets.
Electrification: falling behind
Wind energy’s growth is also tied to how quickly Europe electrifies its economy. Right now, electricity accounts for just 23% of the EU’s total energy consumption. That needs to jump to 61% by 2050 to align with climate goals. However, electrification efforts in key sectors like transportation, heating, and industry are moving too slowly.
European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen has tasked Energy Commissioner Dan Jørgensen with crafting an Electrification Action Plan. That can’t come soon enough.
More wind farms awarded, but challenges persist
On a positive note, governments across Europe awarded a record 37 GW of new wind capacity (29 GW in the EU) in 2024. But without faster permitting, better grid connections, and increased electrification, these awards won’t translate into the clean energy-producing wind farms Europe desperately needs.
Investments and corporate interest
Investments in wind energy totaled €31 billion in 2024, financing 19 GW of new capacity. While onshore wind investments remained strong at €24 billion, offshore wind funding saw a dip. Final investment decisions for offshore projects remain challenging due to slow permitting and grid delays.
Corporate consumers continue to show strong interest in wind energy. Half of all electricity contracted under Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) in 2024 was wind. Dedicated wind PPAs were 4 GW out of a total of 12 GW of renewable PPAs.

The Chinese EV leader is launching a new flagship electric sedan. BYD’s new Han L EV leaked in China on Friday, revealing a potential Tesla Model S Plaid challenger.
What we know about the BYD Han L EV so far
We knew it was coming soon after BYD teased the Han L on social media a few days ago. Now, we are learning more about what to expect.
BYD’s new electric sedan appeared in China’s latest Ministry of Industry and Information Tech (MIIT) filing, a catalog of new vehicles that will soon be sold.
The filing revealed four versions, including two EV and two PHEV models. The Han L EV will be available in single- and dual-motor configurations. With a peak power of 580 kW (777 hp), the single-motor model packs more power than expected.
BYD’s dual-motor Han L gains an additional 230 kW (308 hp) front-mounted motor. As CnEVPost pointed out, the vehicle’s back has a “2.7S” badge, which suggests a 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) sprint time of just 2.7 seconds.
To put that into perspective, the Tesla Model S Plaid can accelerate from 0 to 100 km in 2.1 seconds. In China, the Model S Plaid starts at RBM 814,900, or over $110,000. Speaking of Tesla, the EV leader just unveiled its highly anticipated Model Y “Juniper” refresh in China on Thursday. It starts at RMB 263,500 ($36,000).
BYD already sells the Han EV in China, starting at around RMB 200,000. However, the single front motor, with a peak power of 180 kW, is much less potent than the “L” model. The Han EV can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds.
At 5,050 mm long, 1,960 mm wide, and 1,505 mm tall with a wheelbase of 2,970 mm, BYD’s new Han L is roughly the size of the Model Y (4,970 mm long, 1,964 mm wide, 1,445 mm tall, wheelbase of 2,960 mm).
Other than that it will use a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) pack from BYD’s FinDreams unit, no other battery specs were revealed. Check back soon for the full rundown.
