We’ve got three big Holiday sales for today’s Green Deals, with MOD’s savings event offering a 10% sitewide discount across its e-bikes, with the popular Easy 3 e-bike even hitting a new $2,159 low. Cruising up right behind it is Segway’s December savings that is taking up to 60% off its EVs, spotlighting the new ZT3 Pro All-Terrain KickScooter that has returned to its $950 low for the first time since its pre-order launch deal. Lastly, we have the 2024 Discover Samsung sale that has dropped its Bespoke AI Combo All-in-One Electric Washer and Ventless Dryer to $1,999 with $273 in bonus savings. Plus, all the other hangover Green Deals are in the links at the bottom of the page, like yesterday’s Lectric Holiday sale deals, Anker’s PowerCore Reserve low, and more.
MOD’s popular and stylish Easy 3 e-bike hits new $2,159 low in 10% off sitewide Holiday sale
MOD Bikes started November with its month-long savings that saw massive price cuts up to $1,300 ($1,100 of which were permanent), and the brand is back with its Holiday sale through December 25 with some lower prices across its lineup of e-bikes thanks to a 10% sitewide discount. Its most popular model (and my personal favorite), the Easy 3 e-bike is undercutting its Black Friday pricing at $2,159.10 shipped, after clipping the on-page 10% off coupon. Carrying a new $2,399 price tag since November (down from its original $3,499), we saw the brand’s Black Friday savings drop costs to $2,199, but today you’re looking at a new all-time low price that beats out its former one-time low by $40.
I have been gushing about MOD’s Easy 3 e-bike since I first saw it, as the motorcycle-inspired design truly stands out on the market compared to the typical e-bikes we see from big brands and I have been loving mine now for over a month. The 750W rear brushless geared hub motor peaks up at 1,000W and comes powered by a removable 720Wh MOD Samsung Powerpack battery that works alongside the five levels of PAS (upgraded with a torque sensor that really makes a huge difference from past iterations). You’ll get up to 50 miles of PAS support at full charge, propelling your rides up to 28 MPH top speeds.
The high-quality stock features only make the riding experience that much more fun. There’s the integrated LED headlight and taillight that offers brake lighting, a dual suspension, hydraulic disc brakes, multi-terrain tires, and a 7-speed Shimano ALTUS derailleur – all adding to the comfort of the ride. But that’s not all as you’ll also enjoy a rear cargo rack, a saddle that is much wider and sturdier than average, fenders over both wheels, a thumb throttle for pure electric action (at the cost of mileage), a bell, and a solid S3 smart color display that even has a USB port to charge your devices. There’s even some added security as you can use a password to lock the bike when its not in use, which is definitely needed in a world where theft seems to be a popular way of life.
And what’s more, there is the MOD Easy SideCar 3 e-bike that that features the SideCar attachment for the model, currently down at $3,509.10 shipped, after clipping the on-page 10% off coupon. It has a 150-pound payload for riders, though it was more designed to give your canine friends a place to sit through the adventures. Sitting at the same price thanks to the 10% discount is the brand’s newest Easy SideCar Sahara which features an upgraded sidecar attachment complete with added storage racks, lights, a removable seat belt, and a rear doggie door to give easier access to your older dogs.
Other MOD Holiday sale e-bike deals (10% discount factored in):
Segway’s Holiday sale drops new ZT3 Pro fully-loaded all-terrain kickscooter to $950 low
Segway’s Holiday sale is bringing back Black Friday lows with up to 60% being taken off its EVs through December 27. One notable inclusion this time around is the brand’s new ZT3 Pro All-Terrain eKickScooter for $949.99 shipped. Normally priced at $1,300 since it hit the market two months ago, we’ve only seen two previous discounts since, the pre-order launch special that dropped costs to $950 followed by a Black Friday price cut to $1,100. Today, you’re looking at a second chance to score a 27% markdown here, cutting $350 off the price tag and dropping costs to the lowest price we have seen anywhere. You can get a full rundown on what to expect through our original launch coverage or head below.
Segway’s new ZT3 Pro electric scooter cruises across any terrain your journeys take you at top speeds of 24.9 MPH thanks to the 1,600W brushless motor that provides enough torque to conquer inclines up to 25% with ease. The 597Wh battery here is supported by RideyLong tech with an advanced controller algorithm that extends its travel capacity “by up to 20%,” lending to the 43.5 miles it carries you on a single 4-hour charge while in Eco Mode (18.6 miles when kicked into its high-powered Sport mode). Segway has even taken sudden needs to travel into consideration, giving it the ability the provide 6.2 miles off just 30 minutes of charging if you really need to get going.
Rider safety, stability, and comfort have been one of the main focuses of this model too, as it has been given plenty of features to support smoother and more controlled riding, like the full suspension frame, 6 inches of clearance from the ground, a pair of 11-inch all-terrain tubeless tires, as well as a Segride stability enhancement system that works alongside its Traction Control System. It boasts an IPX5 waterproof designation (with the battery rated IPX7) and even eco-friendly ASA thermoplastic that is easy to replace if damaged – plus, tons of smart features, like Apple Find My, and lighting too, which you can check out in full by reading our in-depth launch coverage.

Upgrade chores with Samsung’s Bespoke AI Combo all-in-one washer/ventless dryer at $1,999 (Save $1,598)
As part of its 2024 Discover Samsung sale, the brand is offering its Bespoke AI Laundry Combo all-in-one electric washer/ventless dryer for $1,999 shipped. This appliance carries a full price tag of $3,324, with most of the brand’s sales dropping costs down around $2,199, with a few occasional drops lower to $1,999 and one previous fall further to $1,899. Not only can you save $1,325 off the going rate to score the second-lowest price we have tracked direct from Samsung, but you’ll also get some bonus savings in the form of a $100 credit, a 2-year Samsung Care+ plan for $1 (normally $149), and free installation – all valued at $273 for a total $1,598 in savings. You can also find an open-box option for $1,599.20 shipped on the same page if you’re looking for a way to shave off more from the cost.
This all-in-one ENERGY STAR appliance from Samsung utilizes AI to take the hassle off of laundry management while also increasing its energy efficiency, as it will identify and adjust settings depending on different fabric types and their soil levels. On top of this, its dual-inverter heat pump tech pairs with the AI systems to calculate and predict your electricity costs to “reduce energy usage by up to 19%.” Another of its notable features (prominently displayed in its name) is the ventless design that gives you far more freedom to place it wherever is most convenient in your home, no longer needing to keep it next to a dedicated exhaust vent.
The detergent tank here sports a much larger capacity, holding up to 47 loads worth of detergent so you don’t have to regularly worry about filling and refilling in between laundry loads – plus, it also has a Flex One compartment that takes that convenience to the next level as it can be split between 25 loads of detergent and 34 loads of softener. It’s also been given self-cleaning and self-drying tech to keep laundry coming out fresh, smart controls via the SmartThings app (as well as hands-free voice controls), the EPA’s seal of approval, and much more.
The savings this week are also continuing to a collection of other markdowns. To the same tune as the offers above, these all help you take a more energy-conscious approach to your routine. Winter means you can lock in even better off-season price cuts on electric tools for the lawn while saving on EVs and tons of other gear.

This fund most recently provided aid for communities affected by the recent Los Angeles wildfires, assistance to the Special Forces Charitable Trust (SFCT) in North Carolina following severe hurricanes, and support for non-profits engaged in hurricane preparedness in Florida and the Gulf Coast. Per Jodi Burns, CEO of the Special Forces Charitable Trust:
In the wake of devastating storms in Western North Carolina, reliable power was a critical need for the families we serve. Thanks to EcoFlow’s generous donation of generators, we were able to provide immediate relief, ensuring these families and their communities had access to power when they needed it most. We are so impressed with EcoFlow’s commitment to disaster response through their ‘Power for All’ program. It has made a tangible impact, and we are deeply grateful for their support and partnership in helping these families recover and rebuild.
In 2024, the US experienced 27 weather and climate events, each causing losses exceeding $1 billion, marking the second-highest annual total on record, according to National Centers for Environmental Information. The increasing frequency and severity of natural disasters underscore the critical need for reliable and timely power solutions during emergencies, much like EcoFlow and its members are helping provide through the “Power For All” initiative.
To support new and existing EcoFlow members, the company is celebrating its third annual Member’s Festival throughout April to offer a do-not-miss discount on its products and donate a portion of all sales to the “Power for All” fund to provide rescue power to those in need in the future. Tesla is losing another top talent: its long-time head of software, David Lau, has reportedly told co-workers that he is exiting the automaker.
Tesla changed how the entire auto industry looks at software.
Before Tesla, it was an afterthought; user interfaces were rudimentary, and you had to go to a dealership to get a software update on your systems.
When Tesla launched the Model S in 2012, it all changed. Your car would get better through software updates like your phone, the large center display was responsive with a UI that actually made sense and was closer to an iPad experience than a car.

Tesla also integrated its software into its retail experience, service, and manufacturing.
David Lau deserves a lot of the credit for that.
He joined Tesla in 2012 as a senior manager of firmware engineering and quickly rose through the ranks. By 2014, he was promoted to director of firmware engineering and system integration, and in 2017, he became Vice President of software.
Lau listed the responsibilities of his team on his LinkedIn:
Vehicle Software:
Firmware for the powertrain, traction/stability control, HV electronics, battery management, and body control systems
UI software and underlying Embedded Linux platforms
Navigation and routing
iOS and Android Mobile apps
Distributed Systems:
Server-side software and infrastructure that provides telemetry, diagnostics, over-the-air updates, and configuration/lifecycle management
Data engineering and analytics platforms that power technical and business insights for an increasingly diverse set of customers across the company
Diagnostic tools and fleet management, Manufacturing and Automation:
Automation controls (PLC, robot)
Server-side manufacturing execution systems that power all of Tesla’s production operations
Product Security and Red Team for software, services, and systems across Tesla
Bloomberg reported today that Lau told his team he is leaving Tesla. The report didn’t include reasons for his stepping down.
Electrek’s Take
Twelve years at any company is a great run. At Tesla, it’s heroic. Congrats, David, on a great run. You undoubtedly had a significant impact on Tesla and software advancements in the broader auto industry.
He is another significant loss for Tesla, which has been losing a lot of top talent following a big wave of layoffs around this time last year.
I wonder who will take over. Michael Rizkalla, senior director of software engineering and vehicle firmware, is one of the most senior software engineers after Lau. He has been at Tesla for 7 years, and Tesla likes to promote within rather than hire outsiders.
There are also a lot of senior software execs working on AI at Tesla. Musk has been favoring them lately and he could fold Lau’s responsibilities under them.

Kia’s electric SUVs are taking over. The EV3 is the best-selling retail EV in the UK this year, giving Kia its strongest sales start since it arrived 34 years ago. And it’s not just in the UK. Kia just had its best first quarter globally since it started selling cars in 1962.
Kia EV3 is the best-selling EV in the UK through March
In March, Kia sold a record nearly 20,000 vehicles in the UK, making it the fourth best-selling brand. It was also the second top-seller of electrified vehicles (EVs, PHEVs, and HEVs), accounting for over 55% of sales.
The EV3 remained the best-selling retail EV in the UK last month. Including the EV6, three-row EV9, and Niro EV, electric vehicles represented 21% of Kia’s UK sales in March.
Kia said the EV3 “started with a bang” in January, darting out as the UK’s most popular EV in retail sales. Through March, Kia’s electric SUV has held on to the crown. With the EV3 rolling out, Kia sold over 7,000 electric cars through March, nearly 50% more than in Q1 2024.

Starting at £33,005 ($42,500), Kia said it’s the “brand’s most affordable EV yet.” It’s available with two battery packs, 58.3 kWh or 81.48 kWh, good for 430 km (270 miles) and 599 km (375 miles) of WLTP range, respectively.

With new EVs on the way, this could be just the start. Kia is launching several new EVs in the UK this year, including the EV4 sedan (and hatchback) and EV5 SUV. It also confirmed that the first PV5 electric vans will be delivered to customers by the end of the year.
Electrek’s Take
Globally, Kia sold a record 772,351 vehicles in the first quarter, its best since it started selling cars in 1962. With the new EV4, the brand’s first electric sedan and hatchback, launching this year, Kia looks to build on its momentum in 2025.
Kia has also made it very clear that it wants to be a global leader in the electric van market with its new Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) business, starting with the PV5 later this year.
Earlier today, we learned Kia’s midsize electric SUV, the EV5, is the fourth best-selling EV in Australia through March, outselling every BYD vehicle (at least for now). The EV5 is rolling out to new markets this year, including Canada, the UK, South Korea, and Mexico. However, it will not arrive in the US.
For those in the US, there are still a few Kia EVs to look forward to. Kia is launching the EV4 globally, including in the US, later this year. Although no date has been set, Kia confirmed the EV3 is also coming. It’s expected to arrive in mid-2026.
