A manhunt has been launched after a reported shooting at a Kent village pub on Valentine’s Day which has left a woman seriously injured.
Police were called to an apparent disturbance at The Three Horseshoes in Knockholt near Sevenoaks just after 7pm on Friday.
A male suspect, who is thought to be known to the victim, fled the scene and is yet to be found.

Pictures from the scene on Friday night showed forensic teams in white overalls examining an area of the car park, next to the pub, and carrying plastic evidence bags.
A white forensic screen was placed inside the parking area while a blue tarpaulin was put up next to a dark-coloured car, parked at the entrance to the car park.

A Kent Police statement said: “Officers attended the scene along with South East Coast Ambulance Service where a woman in her 40s had suffered serious injuries.”
“The suspect, a man who is believed to be known to the victim, left the area and is currently outstanding.

Police have also established cordons around the pub in the centre of the village of Knockholt, around five miles (8km) northwest of Sevenoaks.
Officers have not given any further updates about the condition of the woman or more details about what happened. But witnesses have told Sky News it involved a shooting.
A statement from The Three Horseshoes pub said: “The Three Horseshoes will be CLOSED today Saturday 15th February following a tragic incident outside the pub last night, sorry for any inconvenience.
“Hopefully we will be open on Sunday as usual x thank you.”
Roman Lavrynovych appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Friday and was remanded in custody.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police’s Counter Terrorism Command led the investigation because of the connections to the prime minister.

It briefly seemed the south London team had gone 2-0 up after a 58th-minute strike from Daniel Munoz but the goal was quickly ruled offside.
They then held onto their 1-0 lead until the final whistle, which came after an agonising 10 minutes of injury time.
