Before we get into this new model’s capabilities, I want to point out real quick that there is no telling where prices will land come the actual shopping holiday in a few weeks, so make decisions wisely.

Picking up the mantle from one of Aventon’s most popular series under its flag, the new Aventure 3 e-bike comes as an all-terrain commuter (with either a step-over or step-through frame) packed with plenty of premium stock and smart features, with the latter including GPS tracking, an integrated rear wheel lock, in-app ride tune customization, a cross-model keyless battery, and more. The frame houses a 750W rear hub motor (with a 1,188W peak) alongside a removable 733Wh battery to reach 20 MPH speeds (unless your local laws allow its unlocked 28 MPH top speed) and assist your pedaling with three levels for up to 65 miles, supported by both a cadence and a torque sensor that you can switch between, as well as coming with a boost mode to ramp up power to tackle inclines more quickly.
As you should expect if you’ve kept up with Aventon’s new lineup of smart e-bikes, the Aventure 3 comes stocked with plenty of great physical features, including the hydarulic disc brakes, puncture-resistant tires, integrated front and rear lighting, an 8-speed Shimano Altus derailleur, a suspension seat post, a rear cargo rack, a full-color LCD screen for data and setting adjustments, and more.
Bring home the popular EcoFlow DELTA Pro 3,600Wh power station at a new and exclusive $1,299 low
Right alongside the EcoFlow DELTA 2 Max and Solar Hat bundle low from yesterday, we have secured another exclusive deal for 9to5Toys readers from Wellbots on the EcoFlow DELTA Pro Portable Power Station at $1,299 shipped, after using the exclusive code 9TO5ECOPRO at checkout. While it carries a $3,699 MSRP directly from the brand and can be found down around $2,799 at Amazon, this station starts at $1,999 over at Wellbots, with the initial discount dropping things to $1,399, while the exclusive code gives you an additional $100 off that tag. We’ve only ever seen it drop as low as $1,384, which appeared once back during Prime Day two weeks ago. This exclusive deal saves you a total $700 off the going rate ($2,400 off its MSRP) and lands it lower than ever for the best price we have tracked anywhere.
Anker’s PowerCore Reserve station packs a 192Wh battery into a 5-pound unit for $80
Amazon is offering the Anker PowerCore Reserve 60,000mAh Power Station for $79.98 shipped. It may carry a $150 MSRP directly from the brand, but you’re more likely to find it going for $110 most of the time, while some discounts have taken things lower to $90, $80, and a one-time $75 low we saw in July. During the Prime Day event two weeks ago, we saw this same rate pop up, with you getting another chance today, cutting a total $70 off the MSRP for the second-best price we have tracked.
Hiboy’s Halloween Sale drops the new EX6F low-step folding e-bike to its $950 low (Reg. $1,580), more from $320
Hiboy has an ongoing Halloween Sale running through the rest of the month with up to 47% off discounts across its EV lineup, alongside some extra promotions like the Halloween photo contest that can win you accessory coupons and/or limited free gifts. Among the lineup of deals, we spotted Hiboy’s new EX6F Low-Step Foldable e-bike dropping down to $949.99 shipped, with it unavailable at Amazon. Only having been on the market since June with a $1,580 full price, we’ve seen discounts dropping the costs down to $1,000 mostly, after first launching at $950. September saw a bonus promotion added to one sale, which dipped it lower to $980, but now we’re seeing it return to its best price for the second time ever since launching. All-in-all, you’ll be getting $630 struck from the price tag, while also getting the latest generation of one of the brand’s most popular e-bikes. Head below to check out the full lineup of Halloween deals.
The savings this week are also continuing to a collection of other markdowns. To the same tune as the offers above, these all help you take a more energy-conscious approach to your routine. Winter means you can lock in even better off-season price cuts on electric tools for the lawn while saving on EVs and tons of other gear.
First Solar just cut the ribbon on a huge new factory in Iberia Parish, Louisiana, and it dwarfs the New Orleans Superdome. The company’s $1.1 billion, fully vertically integrated facility spans 2.4 million square feet, or about 11 times the size of the stadium’s main arena.
The factory began production quietly in July, a few months ahead of schedule, and employs more than 700 people. First Solar expects that number to hit 826 by the end of the year. Once it’s fully online, the site will add 3.5 GW of annual manufacturing capacity. That brings the company’s total US footprint to 14 GW in 2026 and 17.7 GW in 2027, when its newly announced South Carolina plant is anticipated to come online.
The Louisiana plant produces First Solar’s Series 7 modules using US-made materials — glass from Illinois and Ohio, and steel from Mississippi, which is fabricated into backrails in Louisiana.
The new factory leans heavily on AI, from computer vision that spots defects on the line to deep learning tools that help technicians make real‑time adjustments.

Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry says the investment is already a win for the region, bringing in “hundreds of good-paying jobs and new opportunities for Louisiana workers and businesses.” A new economic impact analysis from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette projects that the factory will boost Iberia Parish’s GDP by 4.4% in its first full year at capacity. The average manufacturing compensation package comes in at around $90,000, more than triple the parish’s per capita income.
First Solar CEO Mark Widmar framed the new facility as a major step for US clean energy manufacturing: “By competitively producing energy technology in America with American materials, while creating American jobs, we’re demonstrating that US reindustrialization isn’t just a thesis, it’s an operating reality.”
This site joins what’s already the largest solar manufacturing and R&D footprint in the Western Hemisphere: three factories in Ohio, one in Alabama, and R&D centers in Ohio and California. Just last week, First Solar announced a new production line in Gaffney, South Carolina, to onshore more Series 6 module work. By the end of 2026, the company expects to directly employ more than 5,500 people across the US.

No, it’s not the new Bolt. GM’s design team previewed a new high-riding “sporty Chevrolet EV” that should be brought to life.
Is Chevy launching a new sporty EV?
This is the all-electric vehicle Chevy should sell in the US. General Motors’ design team released a series of sketches previewing a sporty new Chevy EV.
Although it kinda looks like the new 2027 Chevy Bolt EV as a higher-sitting compact crossover SUV, the design offers a fresh take on what it should have looked like.
The new Bolt is essentially a modernized version of the outgoing EUV model with a similar compact crossover silhouette. Nissan adopted a similar style with the new 2026 LEAF as buyers continue shifting from smaller sedans and hatchbacks to crossovers and SUVs.

Will we see the sporty Chevy EV in real life? It’s not likely. For one, the “exploration sketch” is by GM China Advanced designer Charles Huang.
GM Design posted the sketches on its global social media page, but the caption read “Sporty Chevrolet EV for the China Market.”
It’s too bad. The Bolt could use a sporty sibling like an SS variant. Chevy introduced the Blazer EV SS (check out our review) for the 2026 model year, its fastest “SS” model yet. Packing up to 615 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque, the Chevy Blazer SS can race from 0 to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds when using Wide Open Watts (WOW) mode.
Will the Bolt be next? I wouldn’t get my hopes up. And if GM does bring the sporty Chevy EV to life, it will likely only be sold in China. Like all the fun cars these days.

What do you think of the design? Would you buy one of these in the US? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
While deliveries of the 2027 Bolt are set to begin in early 2026, Chevy is offering some sweet deals on its current EV lineup, including up to $4,000 off in Customer Cash and 0% APR financing for 60 months.
